Greetings in the name of our crucified and risen Lord Jesus Christ! My name is Pastor Jonathan Liebich, and I am happy you have found us on the web. I have been serving the people of Christ Lutheran as their pastor since July of 2006. Being a New Englander is new to me, but I love it here in Connecticut. I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and later attended Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska, where I was in the pre-seminary program and received a Bachelors of Arts in Behavioral Sciences. I then attended Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, where I received a Masters of Divinity degree. I have a wonderful wife, Becky, and an active little son, Benjamin. It is truly a joy for me to serve this congregation as their pastor. Please come and grow with us. God promises that when He sends out His Word it will not return to Him empty but will accomplish what He desires and achieve the purposes for which He sends it. Come and join us as we hear and study God’s Word. Come and join us as we celebrate Jesus Christ and what His crucifixion and resurrection mean for us. Come and join us as we strive to extend this love of God to our neighbors in this community and the world. Christ Lutheran is an exciting place to be.
